The first two were taken on Memorial Day weekend…we and the Tuohys were on our way over to Santa Rosa Island for a picnic. While we were there a huge “fly-over” of planes from the air bases rumbled over…it was quite a sight in those days!
The one in the wet suit is, I believe, from the maiden voyage of the Aquila and her crew of Don, Branch, Murphy and Frank Lawton from Atlantic City down to Green Point Marina. That was in the Spring of 1978.
I do enjoy seeing these. Thank you.
